The Hale 20FV-C8 Fyr Flote Portable Floating Pump is a high-volume pump.
The 20FV-C8 has a unique lightweight design, portable centrifugal pump mounted on an unsinkable, high-strength polyethylene float with dual carrying handles and a splash suppression collar. The 20FV-C8 delivers a flow of 10 GPM @ 125 PSI, 50 GPM @ 95 PSI, and 140 GPM @ 25 PSI. It can also throw a stream of water more than 90 feet for direct firefighting capabilities. This pump is specially engineered for the fire service and is easily used with alternative water sources such as streams, lakes or pools. It meets most every pump need in as little as four inches of water. The pump and engine assembly are easily detachable from the float. The float folds in half for convenient storage in most apparatus compartments.
