Our 1200 Series Laser Bench Micrometers outpace the competition as the most accurate and simple to operate gauging systems in the world. These micrometers are the most accurate, provide excellent repeatability and resolution, and present the friendliest interface on the market.
Our 1200 Series micrometers contain a transmitter, receiver, processor electronics, touch screen, and key pad all in a single package. Z-Mike's system design uses a special collimator lens which incorporates our patented optics, enabling high accuracy in a short focal length. A thin band of high-speed scanning laser light projects from the transmitter to the receiver. A part placed in the beam casts a shadow, which becomes the starting point for measurement.
The receiver houses a collector optic, photodiode, and edge-sense circuitry. Through our patented edge-sensing process, signals from the laser light entering the receiver are used by the microprocessor to calculate the dimensions represented by distances between the shadow edges. The dimensional data is instantly displayed, or can be transmitted to a computer for further processing.
State of the art graphical user interface makes these gauges the easiest to use in the industry.
Multiple versions for any job provide a range of measurement capabilities from basic to enhanced features that help you meet any measurement task. All types of measurements are easily accessible from the front panel keypad or through the micrometers communications port.
