Dielectric Strength Conductor to Shield
This is the lowest loss of any RG8/RG213 type cable. This is achieved through the use of a high velocity gas injected closed cell foam dielectric and bonded aluminum tape outer conductor. The UV protected black polyethylene jacket makes the cable rugged and resistant to the full range of outdoor environments.
This product can be used for commercial, military and amatuer ham radio applications and is compatible with Direct Sequence and Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum including 16QAM and 11 Mbit/sec IEEE 802.11 devices including Aironet, Agere, Alvarion, Arlan, BreezeCom, Compaq, Clarion, DLink, Dell, Enterasys, IBM, Intel, Linksys, Lucent, Orinoco, Proxim, SMC, Symbol, Toshiba, WaveLAN, Wi-LAN, RF wireless video transmitters and others.
