This is a heavy duty explosion proof enclosure with a round domed thread on cover.
Inside measurements 5 1/2" X 5" X 2 1/4" not counting dome cover.
Cast Irom except screw on cover is aluminum.
Has what looks to be a circuit breaker installed and can be operated from outside with the handle.
Circuit breaker could be removed and used as a junction box.
