The story behind this machine:
We imported it as a single item with some of our other equipment. We wanted to have one to test in our showroom. It runs good, documentation is poor. We have decided NOT to market these CHINESE saws simply because our company has grown as large as we want to be and our resources cover what we want to do.
* 250 mm round bar capacity (about 10")
* 250 mm x 250 mm square bar capacity (about 10" x 10")
* 180 mm x 135 mm bundle capacity, for hyd. vise (about 7" x 5.3")
* Blade size is 27mm x 3505mm (about 1 1/16" x 138")
* Blade speeds are about 27, 40, 50, 68 and 80 meters per minute OR translated to feet per minute of about 89, 132, 165, 224 and 264 feet per minute.
* Sawing feed (blade into material being cut) is controlled by Inf. variable rotating knob on front panel
* Motor for sawing is 2.2 kw (almost 3HP), motor for hydraulics is .37 kw (about 1/2 HP)
* Maximum loading on machine is 1500 kg which is about 3300 lbs.
* Size of assembled machine is 7' x 6'2". The 7' dimension includes the powered manual roller conveyor. You would simply add you own length of regular roller conveyor behind this.
Now, there are some interlocks. For instance, if the saw vise is not clamped, the blade will not turn on.
What I don't like about this saw:
First, look at the pic of the control panel. There are what I call "pictographs" or "icons" that label the control buttons. There are no words with these picture labels. The pictures are pretty easy to understand and the button functions should be clear to anyone who has run this type of horizontal bandsaw.
The docmentation is not very good. There are decent electrical schematics but there are no mechanical drawings. There are some sheets with pictures of the control and short explaination of what the buttons do.
PLEASE BE AWARE.....I CAN NOT SUPPORT THIS SAW, BECAUSE I NEVER MADE A DEAL WITH THE FACTORY. I CAN NOT GET PARTS AND I CAN NOT GET ANY MORE BOOKS. I AM SELLING IT LESS THAN 1/2 RETAIL BECAUSE OF THIS. THERE IS NO WARRANTY AND NO RETURN.
If you are not sure, come inspect this machine in my showroom.
Look at the pics....There is a pic of the entire machine from the left/front. There is a pic from the back. You can see the pic of the control panel. You can see the conveyor power mechanism because I took off the cover. You can see the blade with the tape measure.
I made 3 cuts in a PIECE OF SOLID BAR, 4" x 4" mild steel and this saw cut good.
This machine is on a skid, and it can be handled with a forklift. It weighs 2500 lbs. I would rather you pick it up with your flatbed truck or a double axle trailer. You should bring some tarps, cause you DON'T want it to get wet in the rain. We will load at no extra charge. For you folks who want to send a commercial truck, we can load a common carrier box trailer or flatbed. If you send a flat bed, bring tarps. If you call them for a rate, tell them 2500 lbs., 7' of bed space coming from Memphis, Tennessee to your destination. I will package this machine good.... and wrap the machine with shrink wrap.
