NEW Berthold Lumat LB 9507 Ultra Sensitive Tube Luminometer with Variable Injectors
This is a nice used condition Berthold Luminometer model Lumat LB 9507 from a diagnostic lab company that closed a repair and engineering facility. We bought the contents of their warehouse. This is marked as a former service loaner instrument.
This has a place for two reagent bottles on the top, that is the optional (extra cost) variable injectors. But I am no expert on this equipment. This might be order number 81957-52. Made in Germany. Gorgeous!
This is a picture of the actual unit you will receive. Not included are the reagent bottles, tubes with fittings, manuals, software, cabling or other items. A power cord is included.
See my other listings for some brand new in the box never used units with all accessories for startup. If you prefer a new unit to this used one.
So to use this you will need reagent bottles and tubes. Maybe injection system cleaning solutions. Some test tubes.
The display, it knew the date and time as soon as I plugged it in. I did the printout of the instrument parameters.
My research indicates this unit is also marketed as a B-D Monolight 3010 Luminometer, the manual for that is HERE and it is likely applicable to this Berthold branded unit. I think Berthold made those for Becton Dickenson. BD has a page of consumables HERE. So read that manual and you will find out the answers to all your questions!

Some have asked "Why so cheap?" "There must be something wrong!"
Well, there's NOTHING wrong, this is a good used instrument, just the same as if you bought it from the manufacturer for $13,000.00 and used it yourself.
The only difference is this is just the unit , these were sold to an OEM manufacturer who private labeled these. They don't include manuals, software or other items since the OEM manufacturer had their own and didn't need the manufacturer's stuff.
We pulled off the private labels and the regular Berthold label is there, just the same as if you bought a new one.
So that's what happened, we bought all this stuff and the price was right, so now the price is right for you, too!
Just the thing if you need photon counting, huh? I have no idea. Heh.

Unique measurement chamber design The measurement chamber is designed to enable rotating sample transport. You can load a second sample while the first one is being measured, thus saving time which results in throughputs approaching those of an automatic instrument. The special design of measurement chamber provides superior light collection efficiency.
The built-in 32-bit software has been developed to provide easy, intuitive operation of the instrument s powerful features. You can choose from a variety of basic measurement protocols.
When the significance of the measurement is the integrated value of light emission over the measurement time - e. g. ATP measurements or reporter gene assays.
For automatic injection of reagents, measurement of two different luminescent signals and data calculation.
Three different kinetic measurement modes:
1. Kinetic printout of raw data results
2. Repeated measurements to watch long-term kinetics

This is being sold with a 5 day DOA warranty, but I tested it, it's not DOA. That's not to say it might not need a service call, calibration, safety testing, I doubt it but that is not guaranteed by us. No software, manuals, cables or other items are included.
