It has a triple high flow multi-stage filtration to prevent premature clogging of the filter for ice makers up to 3000 lbs./ day. It also controls other potential ice maker water problems of hard water scale, corrosion, chlorine, sediment by using food grade activated carbon & food grade polyphosphate.
