Three jaw metal lathe chuck - plain back
This is a Three Jaw Chuck with a plain back for a metal lathe. It is made in England, don't know the manufacturer. The model number is 7162
It is a 7 1/2" diameter chuck. Appears to be in good shape. Does not fit any of my machines.
I have the backing plate that came with the chuck. It is 1 1/2" -8 The threads are a little beat up, and the chuck does not fit tight on it. It is still usable. Comes with this chuck for free. Machine a new step in this backing plate and it would work like a charm.
