This Legacy can be upgraded to the latest software version, Everest, but the functionality of the system is only slightly enhanced. The $10,000 Everest software allows the Legacy to use the Advantec Hand piece which is more expensive, larger and not as reliable as the Turbosonics hand piece. The key to making a great purchase of a Legacy is to find one that has been serviced and PM'd properly. .
