This and all of the equipment currently being sold within our current store category "Electronics" is part of a very large assembly of vintage; ham radio, Transmitters, Receivers, Analyzers, Power Supply Units, transceivers, audio test equipment, Military and non military, electrical equipment, generators, et al. of which have been made available to us for sale to the public due to the efforts of ongoing Estate liquidation.
I met with the family on 7/18/09 and was advised that quite a large amount of this collection was purchased in working condition at Fair Electronics in Ohio and other purchases made from the UK. In addition the Owner did have all units up and working at one time.
It is my understanding that all the Electronic items acquired by the Estate that are military in nature were most likely Korean War implements, i.e. 1950 - 1953, a few others may be earlier Units and possibly a few were made later.
All pieces were stored in control room at the Estate, many of which were in machine cabinets or metal housings.
It is my understanding that the accumulation of these items was assembled for the purpose(s) of a working mobile Radio communications Unit and others for ham operations at Owner s home.
Due to the volume of inventory of all the items yet for sale, until further notice, all Operation Manuals will be sold under separate listing. In addition, any and all power sources, cables, spools of wiring, and accessories such as conduits, power cords, tubes, socket contacts, Bantam Connectors, pins, replacement connectors, etc. will be sold under separate listing. No exterior or interior parts will be sold separately.
