Singer Hat Industrial Sewing Machine 240 W 2
Broken Cast Iron Neck - Serial# W1396000
This listing is for a Singer 240W 2 industrial sewing machine that has been dropped.
As can be seen in the photos the cast iron neck has been broken and the metal table has a slight bent corner that could be easily straightened. When the parts are held together, the machine seems to turn freely. There is a needle broken off but enough showing to easily pull it out, and there is no foot attached. The little arm with a hole in it on a shaft on the back side has been bent but could be straightened as well.
It is possible that the break can be welded because it lines up easily, but I am not an expert on sewing machines or cast iron welding!
