Slate holer,twin hole punching tool for roofing slates
This tool punches the two fixing holes simultaneously in natural roofing slate
It is a sturdy tool of all-steel construction ( we developed this holer over 20 years ago and the original tools are still in constant use and have needed NO spares apart from the punching pins )
It is capable of holeing hundreds of slates per hour
It caters for a range of slate sizes using adjustable pin positions and end locators to give required distance in from edge of slate and headlap, so you just put slate against stops and punch the two holes ,no need to mark hole positions before punching as with some other holers.
It comes with 4 spare punching pins.
NOTE For particularly hard,brittle slate such as Camborne/Brazilian we would recommend drilling the holes.
