The battery charging function is microprocessor-controlled, which prevents the batteries from being overcharged, and eliminates the memory effect, which ensures that the battery will not remember its usual discharge point and superficially require a charge when it hits that point. Unit includes an inductive charging stand designed to keep the unit fully charged. The reusable, integral safety valve prevents any liquid from entering the handle and can easily be removed, cleaned, or if necessary replaced. The ergonomically designed handle is made of polyamide (nylon) 6. The nosepiece (without the filter) can be autoclaved at 121 C (250 F). The pump motor is low-noise and vibration-free.
