An advanced sterilizable and disposable packaging product developed by Clean Room Products.
Clean Room Products' Polypropylene Breather Bag is finding wide use in the pharmaceutical and medical industries where FDA Class 100 clean sterilization/packaging is required. The bags handle virtually any materials required for sterilization up to 123 C (128 peak) for extended periods. The Breather Sheet is also available for lidding most containers.
Breather Bags are fabricated from a slitted 3 mil polypropylene sheet, with a heat-sealed Tyvek breather strip which is then sealed to a second polypropylene sheet to form a bag or tube. When subject to varying chamber pressures, the breather slits help equalize the internal and external pressures while preventing the product from coming into contact with the outer Tyvek barrier.
Polypropylene is an excellent all-purpose Level I packaging film that provides good abrasion resistance and superior film seal strength. Tyvek 1059B is a pharmaceutical grade material that provides an excellent barrier to dust and bacteria with thermal stability for dry heat or autoclave sterilization.
Sterilizable by steam, ethylene oxide and dry heat
Bags and lids are cleaned and packaged in our Class 10/100 clean room, and certified to Clean Room Products Level I. (Other government, industry and company specs met on request.)
