BASIC DESCRIPTION. Adjustable 3-Jaw Chuck. Body is 6.25" in diameter. Heavy duty: body is 2.550" thick, and is not the split body design.. Through hole is 1.625". Recess for backplate is 4.920" in diameter by 1/8" deep. Only markings on the chuck are "4786", apparently a model number.
I've owned this chuck for several years, so I seriously doubt that is was made off-shore. Most of the paint on the data plate is gone, but the reamining paint has the characteristic Buck gold color around its perimeter.
