AudioFuse puts "music making" power in the hands of the mass market consumer and creates new revenue streams for content owners and music service providers. With AudioFuse, fans mix and match interchangeable elements from songs by their favorite artists to create their own song variations. AudioFuse is not a "remixing" application, but rather a song engagement platform that offers major benefits to content owners and music service providers. AudioFuse...
* Creates new revenue streams based on custom assembled songs (turn a single hit into dozens of marketable song variations)
* Increases artist affinity and engagement with fun and interactive web applications
* Extends recommendation systems beyond coarse song level and into granular auto-customized music

These assets represent a significant jump start towards developing music business revenue that's sustainable, protectable and well in line with consumer momentum.

Significant consideration has been payed to establishing the unique and memorable AudioFuse brand. Below is a summary of the brand elements critical to AudioFuse's long-term marketability:
* AudioFuse trademark (registration pending)
* Domain names: AudioFuse.com, AudioFuse.net, AudioFuse.org, AudioFuse.biz, AudioFuse.mobi, AudioFuse.info, AudioFuse.us, AudioFuse.tv and more than a dozen related and alternate spellings
* logos & graphic design (including Photoshop and Illustrator source files)
* ZD trademark, logo and domains: ZDFormat.com, ZDPlayer.com, ZeroDisc.net, ZeroDisc.org
* Twitter, Facebook and MySpace identities
The AudioFuse platform is comprised of 5 primary components:
1. AudioFuse.com: Ruby on Rails web application that hosts the AudioFuse widget and provides a central location for users to learn about AudioFuse. Very light weight.
2. AudioFuse ZD Player: Flash based widget that acts as a remote control surface for the platform below. This is the most recognizable component of the system from the end user perspective. It is only one possible interface to the AudioFuse platform.
3. MIX Platform: Ruby on Rails REST web application that supplies the necessary meta data to the AudioFuse ZD Player (e.g., artist name, song titles, available stems).
4. Media Asset Server (MAS): Customized Red5 Flash media server. This is the heart of the operation. It powers the interactive experience for all clients and is responsible for server-side audio processing.
5. Media Administration Tool (MAT): Adobe AIR application that provides a simple mechanism for media meta data administration.
The AudioFuse platform is designed to concentrate computational load and media management on the servers (#3 and #4) while keeping the client side components (#2) as light as possible. This provides several unique benefits over many other available "remixing" platforms on the web. For one, it positions AudioFuse well for extending the interactive experience to mobile devices. For example, imagine an iPhone application as a simple control surface for AudioFuse, allowing music fans to piece together song variations on the go to purchase and share with friends. Another significant benefit of the AudioFuse server-centric architecture is the ability to more tightly control the content. Because AudioFuse provides only a single mixed down audio stream to the client, as opposed to downloading each individual song element and mixing on the client, it's easier to enforce usage policies. It's also easier to apply proprietary audio effects like 3rd party reverb or custom rhythm generation. Lastly, because no media download is necessary, there is near zero startup delay when firing up the player.
The platform is hosted within two isolated server environments. One for staging and one for production. The production MAS (#4) lives inside of the Amazon EC2 cloud and can be scaled linearly as needed to handle service demand. All source code is under Subversion version control and various scripts are used for testing and deploying applications.
TEAM NOT INCLUDED: Purchase price does NOT include employment contracts with team members. However, employment may be negotiable on an individual basis. Please ask if you're interested in hiring any team members.
