South bend heavy 10" lathe 5C lever collet closer parts
This is most of a South Bend hand lever collet closer for 5c collets. It is marked on the end with a small South Bend logo and the part number HW103.
I believe it is for a heavy 10 but please do some research and confirm this. The 5c threads are in good shape. The overall unit has some light surface rust on parts and really needs a good cleaning and paint. I notice it is missing the set screw assy on the bottom of the handle as shown. You will also need a 5c spindle adapter which i sell in my store.
If you are converting a lathe that never had a lever closer to accept one, you will also need a different spindle gear.
