We have tested this Copy Machine and found it to be in Fair condition. We were able to perform copying with the flat-bed scanner. and produce a clean copy. we did, however, run into the following problems:
The document feeder needs to have its rollers replaced. Documents will feed in partially, but upon reaching the middle set of rollers, a slipping sound can be heard and the paper stops, followed shortly by a misfeed notice. Replacing the rollers will probably solve this, but we don't know for certain.
Paper will not feed from tray one. When attempting to print from tray one, no paper feeds out. Listening closely, the operator who tested this machine cannot even hear the tray rise or the feed rollers operate. It seems that there is some electrical problem with the tray-one feeding system. Tray two feeds just fine, and makes all the appropriate sounds.
Please note that while this copy machine supports use as a scanner, printer, and fax, it does not have the interface options necessary for these functions installed. In present configuration, this unit will only work as a copy machine. We have only tested the copying functions of this machine. We do not know whether or not the other functions this machine is designed to perform will work, as we do not have those options installed for testing.
