The POWERJACK Model 100 flooring jack is designed to pull crooked strip flooring into place for nailing and keep it in place without the need to hold it in position. It frees you and your hands for nailing. The POWERJACK Model 100 will work on any thickness flooring without damaging the flooring surface. It can be used next to the wall at stud locations or anywhere on the floor. USE CAUTION Excessive Force can move wall studs or penetrate wallboard The POWERJACK will: Speed up installation - save time Eliminate pry bars or crowbars Help build a better floor Make your job easier Increase your profits At Stud Locations: Position the POWERJACK flooring jack in line with wall studs. Operate lever handle to ratchet faceplate into contact with the wall stud. Continue to ratchet until flooring draws up to desired position. POWERJACK can be left in place while you nail down the flooring strip. Between Stud Locations: Place one or two flooring strips between the wall studs for support. Then place POWERJACK in position and ratchet until contact is made with the support strips. To release the POWERJACK simply push the handle to full forward position releasing the pawls contact. Away from a wall Nail a 2x4 or similar support board down on the subfloor close to the crook. Place POWERJACK in position and ratchet until contact is made with the support board. Remove support board when the flooring strip is nailed securely in place
