New Generation Series CV Cylinder design enhancements include increased width of PTFE wear ring for greater support, durability, and increased piston seal retention for higher speed applications. A new imperial design of the Series CV Cylinder is available with imperial ports, stroke length, and rod for easy integration in imperial facilities. A rod seal retention ring has been added to improve performance in extreme applications. Units affected by these enhancements include Series SK/SL, SG and SCV Slides.
Standard features of the Series CV Cylinders include rugged and lightweight anodized aluminum alloy heads, caps, and tubes. Port Controls regulate speed through the entire stroke. Standard alloy steel and optional corrosion resistant stainless steel piston rods are hard chrome plated for maximum life and durability. Female threads and a variety of mounting accessories provide ease of integration.

Series SK/SL Slides are now provided with Series CV Cylinders which provide many advantages. All Series SK/SL Slides can have either linear ball bushings or TC fluoropolymer composite bushings for optimum performance and are available in six sizes to fit a wide range of applications.

* Linear ball bushings provide lowest friction, highest load capacity, and optimum accuracy of tool plate motion.
* Units with linear ball bushings have shaft wipers to exclude external contaminants.
* Anodized aluminum alloy tool plates with combination tapped and counterbored holes and a precisely machined mounting surface permit easy attachment of tooling.
* Slides are available without a cylinder and supplied with complete hardware for mounting standard VDMA/ISO cylinders.< /LI>
