A great-looking Janesville firefighter's outfit in perfect condition with absolutely no flaws ...it is made by Lion Apparel, so you know it is quality - take a moment and check out the internet prices for their gear and you will see
this outfit is designed like super heavy-duty coveralls - the pants and top are all one unit ...inside is a snap-in heavy insulated liner to provide fire and heat resistance ...extra heavy-duty knee pads and double-layered elbows ...there is a full-length zipper up the front and lots of velcro closures ...there are long zippers up the side of each leg ...everything is in excellent, like-new condition
as for size, I cannot find a size tag on it, but I tried it on and it is obviously too big for me, and I am about 5' 8" tall ...I would guess this outfit would fit a person about 5' 10" to 6' 2" pretty well ...judging by the way it fits me, this would probably fit about a 36" waist ...the waist has built-in elastic to let it expand when you stretch or bend over ...from the armpit seam to the end of the cuff is about 22" ...The inseam is about 29", but remember, the crotch of this gear hangs well below the person's crotch when worn - I personally wear pants with a 30" inseam and these seem to be several inches too long for me ...there are large labels inside the suit, full of information, but nothing specifies a size ...there is a number '10' stamped on the label in red ink, but it may just be an inspector's number
as stated, this gear looks like it was never used to fight a fire ...it is in near-perfect condition, with just a few marks on it probably from being stowed away, certainly not from fighting fires ...I have looked at Janesville turnout gear on TheFireStore.com and see that a jacket & pants combo will cost about $1,250.00 retail and about $1,150.00 on sale ...check out this coverall-style outfit for about half of that price!
if you need firefighter gear like this, you certainly can't go wrong with this one!
because this outfit is heavy, s/h will be a bit higher than for my usual stock of sports jerseys and jackets ...if you live nearby, in Florida, I will reduce the s/h charge for you to reflect the lower postage cost.
