Pages are clear and supple! Completely bound inside of scarlet leather 1/4 bound on deep red canvas over heavy boards. 220 + Amazing etching prints, photo plates, line cuts and figure illustrations absolutely must be seen! Depicting all sorts of water engineering including; river headworks, vintage bathroom fixtures, canal control, tunnel construction, sewer building, trench machine operation, brick laying, erecting wooden pipes, hydrographer gauging, fire hydrant parts, waterworks pumping engine layout, side-hill flume operation, well spouting, men and machines at work +++ Too much more. Normal cover dirt, two small stickers/a little end chipping (borh) to the spine cover are the only flaws to the outside of this 102-year-old original. Mild page yellowing is the only thing keeping the interior of this 7" by 9 1/2" 2 thick beauty from being mint. That s it! It s 467 red-lemon-ebony marbled edge, heavy rag leaves have no brittleness foxing rips tears waving wrinkles odor underlines dogears marks of anykind or even a fingersmudge.
