On offer here is an ex-hire column clamp from Spectra Physics. All moving parts are working smoothly.
This is one of the original heavy duty clamps which are no longer made.
The clamp works by attaching the metal clamp to the column, pulling the strap around the column and hooking back onto the clamp from around the column, then tighten the strap with the ratchet system thereby clamping the entire unit to the column. A versatile clamp, it is suitable for use with practically all shapes and sizes of column, and for use with lasers and total stations alike.
