Cash drawer with insert and solenoid operation
Used but in clean condition inside and out. Smooth drawer actuation. Before I retired I had it mounted under a desk top and actuated it with a foot switch in series with a 12 volt wall module. (Foot switch and wall module no longer available) It gave a professional atmosphere to the office operation.
It is a nice cash drawer that has a removable "bill tray" with a nesting "change tray" that can be removed separately. The bill compartments have spring loaded clips to hold the bills flat. It can be opened with a momentary switch closure which actuates a 12 to 24 volt solenoid. (Switch not included). The solenoid is wired to a five pin DIN plug. A pulse from the switch closure allows the drawer to spring open. It has pre-drilled holes in the top for mounting to a computer case, cash register, or under a desk or counter. The whole assembly is clean and has minimal wear. I do not have a key for it but the lock is similar to most cabinet locks and could be easily replaced with a new one.
