This amazing web site is where members can list their own properties
for a mutual council or housing association exchange
These type of sites can generate lots of traffic as there are many people
out there that are looking to swap their properties
The home page of the site details instructions regarding exchanges
plus pictures, calendar , site stats, adsense link ads, and much more
There is some sort of filter on the site (was done for me) to only
allow UK registrations so to stop spam and unwanted posts etc
The forum is initially split into alphabetical sections and then counties
Members can post their exchange details in the required area/location etc,
they can reply to other exchanges and other people can reply to their advert/s etc
There is a fantastic admin area to control almost every aspect of the site
there are lots and lots of people looking for home swaps.
I purchased this site from another webmaster and I intended to develop it
into a popular site but other projects overtook and site has been left,
but it is ready to pick up and go.......
While you can promote by the usual methods too, i also intended to contact
the owners of other sucessful swap sites, like those mentioned above and
ask if the would email thier members about this site, also i intended to
promote the site in person to housing offices etc
I have just re-newed the domain name and it is registered till 4th March 2011
Domain name transfer is free, but you will require an account at godaddy
which is free to open if you do not have one already.
We can host the site for 2.99 each per month
to include 200mb webspace and 2gb bandwidth per month
If you want to transfer the site to your hosting you are free to do it yourself .....as stated above
i purchased this from another seller who built it...i still have their contact email so if you required
the transfer of the site to your hosting they may be able to help you....again any support issues i would
not be able to help with but the original builder/owner might be able to help...
