ABB - IRB 6400 with M97 S4C controller 150 kg version
This is the 150kg version of the IRB 6400 Arm. With the 150kg the extra 30kg payload is achived by increasing the power of the axis 4 motor and reducing the maximum speed on some of the axis. The 150kg versions are perfect for aplletising or other heavy lift operations.
The robot arm remains unchanged from the bulletproof design of the earlier 6400's- that is to say over engineered yet exceptionally well balanced and fast. The M97A uses Siemens AC servo drive motors as used on the M96 model. The extensive use of planetary gears keeps the gearboxes compact and backlash free.
This ABB M97 6400 is a six-axis industrial robot designed to handle heavy tasks. This robot is ideally suited to perform tasks such as part transfer, material removal, dispensing, and machine loading applications.
