Dental panoramic cassette intensifying screens

Up for sale is a brand new set of intensifying screens made by Belmont. These screens have never been out of their factory packaging except to be photographed for this sale. Retail pricing is between $300-$400. Panoramic film I believe only comes in one size so these screens would likely fit most if not all flexible pano film sleeves/envelopes. These screens are intended to be used with the flexible black plastic sleeve/envelope type cassette that wraps around a rotating drum.
If your current screens are over eight years old or are peeling/delaminating it is time for new screens. Screens do degrade over time from repeated exposure to radiation. This degradation manifests itself in lessening the ability of the screens to 'glow' when exposed to radiation. This of course affects your image quality. The quick fix in most situations is to increase the exposure settings which has a few negative side effects. One is the patient experiences a higher radiation dose than actually needed if the screens were working properly. Two, you loose contrast at higher settings. And three, your panoramic x-ray works exponentially harder at higher exposure settings. Higher settings shorten the life of certain panoramic x-ray components. Specifically the high voltage circuit and the tube head. These components typically run into the thousands of dollars to repair.
Replacing your screens when needed gives you better images, less radiation and longer equipment life.
