This TBH is constructed with A and B grade pine lumber, plywood used for roof only.
The overall measurements of the hive body is approx 42" L 15.5" W and 12 1/4" H. The base board is 46" L. There are 30 bars used in the construction of this unit, each bar has a wood comb guide cut into it and there will be 30 cut splines to place into the cut combs if you choose to use them. The unit has a bottom entrance for the bees. The legs are 2X2 stock and each leg is attached with two carriage bolts.
