The heads were rebuilt at 1,000 hrs. Compression test were good on the pistons at that time. The problem was not the heads. I was running regular gas in it, causeing an octaine ping. High test gas solved the problem.
This DW has been well maintaned while I have owned it. Ditch Witch of Roanoke did 95% of the work on it.This DW has never used a drop of oil between oil changes& does not smoke any.It runs just as good today as when I bought it.I'll try to remember to post the serial # today.I used it to trench water lines from well to homes&do under slab plb.in the basements.Most jobs completed in 1 day, she came home and parked under the shead with only the boom exposed to the weather. This is not one of the used everyday machines.Everything is working properly on this DW.It could go months without ever being used. With new home const. being 99% of my old job it has seen little work the last three yrs. due to the economy. Any ??? call
