This system was designed for refinishers when cartridge type respirators are not allowed or clog too quickly (spraying isocyanates, stripping finishes, sanding body filler, using cyanoacrylates, etc.). The vinyl hood is more durable than the tyvek, so this could be used for light media blasting or grinding.
