Whats New for 2010 vs 2009 model?
Last years model you filled the base with ice. They changed it this year because the ice in the bottom was not effective in keeping the beverage cold. This year they put a ICE CORE which is attached to the cover. The CORE submerges into the liquid to keep it colder.
You don't have to use the ice core if you don't want to. If you were serving just ice water you can fill the ICE CORE with ICE and colored water to create a nice presentation.
The spout this year is silver vs white last year.
This is ideal for those events when you want to mix your own beverages for reduce food cost. This would look very elegant on a wedding buffet table to offer fresh brewed ice tea or lemonade. Easy to clean and hand washing is recommended
