This Fixed-Price listing is for a fully functioning Mattison 202 Rip Saw!
Thoroughly cleaned, checked, painted, fully functioning saw.
Please note: This saw will need a new or a good used set of feed chain and races installed. (We can install a new chain and races for $6,000, used sets are about $2,500)
This solid cast-iron, American-made, WWII-era rip saw has already proven it can outlast any import it's stacked up against and is about twice as heavy at approx. 6,500lbs.
Put this saw in your shop, maintain it, it most likely will never fail you in your lifetime.
All parts still supported through parts rights owner in Illinois.
10HP, 220/440V, 3,600 RPM, Overhead Motor, currently wired for 220V
2 HP, 220/440V, Feed chain motor with four different feed speeds of approx. 50-180 FPM
Manufactured 1941 Rockford, Ill, Reconditioned for service 2008, Serial 12310
1 1/2" arbor 4" max depth of cut
13" minimum stock length, 1 set of anti-kickback fingers
24" max. rip capacity to the right of the blade.
Overhead holddown with 6 pressure rolls, 3 front and 3 in back
