Boeing connection pack cables

This cable looks like a forward PTB cable. A PTB is (Patch to Bridge). A patch field or large bank of receiving connectors below the cockpit is used to tie the avionics to the mass of cables leading to the instruments outside the fuselage and power sources coming from the generators at the rear of the plane. The four screw connecting end would be tied into the Patch Bay below the cockpit and the DIN end would connect to the avionics bank under the floor boards of the cockpit where the computers would send and receive signals to the instrumentation through this cable. There are many PTB cables running from the patch bay beneath the cockpit. It's not unusual for aircraft to have all these cables replaced during an overhaul.
