These 6AG7Y tubes are the premium low loss brown micanol base version of the 6AG7 tube
Collins used the 6AG7 tube in the 30K-1, 32V-2 and 32V-3 transmitters and the 310C1 and 310C2 exciters.
Johnson used the 6AG7 tube in the Viking Adventurer as did Hallicrafters in the HT-20 and Heathkit in the AT-1 transmitters. Allied Radio Knight kit, Marconi, WRL Globe and many other manufacturers also used the 6AG7 tube.
