This is a vintage trade catalog for specialized heavy machinery - saw and knife fitting and sharpening tools - issued by the Machinery Company of America; no publishing date, but based on the overall appearance, etc., I'd guess roughly circa 1920's. In all the corners it has a circle logo that says "B.T.&B. Hanchett Cover" and some of the machines have "Covel Mfg. Co." on them.
It is a 24-page booklet, well-illustrated with 19 b&w photos and diagrams.
It includes, in order: illustration of tooth styles, Metcalf Emery Wheel Dresser, #125 and #135 and #145 Circular Sharpeners, Three Wheel Automatic Sharpener, Straight and Cup Wheel Grinders, #71M Circular Metal Saw Sharpener, #71M Metal or Wood Saw Sharpener, Motor Driven Saw Sharpeners, #54 Hand Gummer, #10 Automatic Milling or Slitting Saw Sharpener, #437 Combination Band Resaw and Circular Rip and Cross-cut Sharpener, #26 Automatic Metal Cutting Band or Hack Saw Sharpener, and #1 Filing Machine. Includes photos, data, weights, sizes, descriptions and prices.
Stapled wraps measuring 6 by 9 inches; covers and pages have some rippling and light staining; two binder holes along spine, minor edge wear and smudging to covers, 2-inch split at top of spine, 1-inch split at the bottom. Condition is Good-.
