The REC-3510 is a self-contained battery operated 12-ton compression tool. The
large jaw opening is 1.65" which accepts mid-span copper and aluminum splices
and cables up to 750 kcmil. When the splices are compressed they can be removed
through the large jaw. This tool accepts U type, T&B, Burndy, Blackburn shell type dies.
A built-in, pre-set 10,000 psi bypass cartridge will audibly kick out when the 12-ton
and compact. There is no tool set-up time or extra power source needed. Makes
splicing a breeze. And with one finger trigger operation fatigue and muscle related
strains are nearly eliminated. Safer work habits result from using these tools.
