These mirrors are aluminized on the surface nearest the incident light. Energy loss is minimized because light does not pass through the glass substrate. Available in circles, squares and rectangles. Rectangular shapes are extremely useful in applications where the mirror must be mounted at 45 to produce a 90 bend in a light path. Rectangular widths are approximately 1.414 times length, yielding a square aperture when light is incident at 45 . Custom sizes are available for volume OEM requirements.
