This is a Hitachi S-4200 FE-SEM Scanning Electron Microscope
This system was used by a major Silicon Valley Semiconductor Production Facility.
It's been under a Service Contract with Hitachi from Production until 1/17/08
Includes Power Supply, Main Tower (Microscope), and Control/Video Unit (For more, see below)
Hitachi's electron microscope service department informs us that this device is in need of adjustment/repair, but it is quite valuable and certainly worth the repair costs.
This system originally sold for about $200,000 when it was new.
