This camera is hand crafted in the USA. They are easy to use and involve minimum, if any, installation. Covert cameras can be used to ensure peace of mind and the safety of your family and business. A wired camera means you will need to run wires from your recorder or monitor to your camera. The wire usually is used to transmit both power to the camera and video from the camera.
A wireless camera includes a internal transmitter that will send the video through the air to the provided receiver. The receiver then will need to be connected to your recording or monitoring device via standard yellow video cable. Depending on the camera the power may be drawn from the device, use a battery pack or the device may have a power supply just for the camera function.
This is only a camera and does not record without the assistance of a VCR or DVR. This camera can easily be connected to a TV or video monitor using the yellow video cable and you can view the image the camera produces.
You have several options if you wish to record the images the camera captures. The cheapest way to record your camera is by using our USB DVR available in our store. This device connects to a computer and allows you to record to your computers hard drive. We also have a large variety of hidden cameras with build in DVRs. These devices will record to a internal SD Card so you can play it via TV or pop the card out and watch it on a computer. Check our store for our Hidden Cameras with DVR. You can also record to a standard DVR or VCR.
This is a function of the recorder and not the camera. Most CCTV recording devices provide the option to begin recording when motion is detected.
