Two battery replacement for apc back-ups XS800VA,BX800
This Battery Pack takes 2 batteries.You receive two (2) batteries
Instructions for changing batteries:
* Remove AC Cord, Shut down power,Remove front plate open.
* Remove peel off both outside labels from batteries. Reuse lables or replace with thin tape.
* Remove harness from batteries and replace.
* The picture is a big help if you mess up the wiring.
* The back of the piece exposes the entrance of your connecting cable with connectors Yellow wire to Red connector (This yellow wire is the series jumper which makes your battteries a 24V system On the same back side the black connector is connected to the negative post on the battery.
* The front side or smooth side attach red to positive connector and yellow to black connector
* Make sure the batteries are alligned properly and before you close with tape make sure that all connections are tight. Test with a volt meter to be sure that the output is 24+ V
* Replace the labels or tape on the batteries and install the new pack.

* Yes this is a challenge in dexterity but a fun job if you have a sence of humor.
