All Grun products are assembled utilizing our unique "slot & groove" joinery system with full welds throughout. Grun parts are all laser cut like puzzle pieces - there is only one way that Grun parts can be assembled which results in unsurpassed durability and manufacturing consistency.
The Grun model SB7 Strawblower has a fan shaft that extends all the way through the beater chamber and is securely frame mounted at both ends. Some competitive models cantilever their fan shaft in the beater chamber. What this means is that the fan shaft rotates in a cone pattern, which stresses the weld seams and causes the welds to split open - sometimes during the first season. Grun's fan shafts are secured at both ends and our seams are assembled utilizing our unique "Slot & Groove" joinery system plus full welds for additional stability and reinforcement.
