You can read competitors listings where they are trying to make this into rocket science; well, we're here to tell you this is not rocket science. Simply put, Pulse Start type fixtures use a different ballast and lamp and put off approximately 5,000 more lumens than conventional probe start metal halides.
What does this mean for you? You can light your area with fewer lights, or you can drop down to a 320 watt pulse start, get virtually the same amount of light as a standard 400 watt probe start metal halide, but save 80 watts of electricity per light.
Please call us with questions at (***)-370-7073.
1) How many lights do I need? On average, 1 light for every 450 square feet. Take your square footage and divide this by 450 and this will give you the number of lights you need for general lighting.
3) What voltage are these lights wired for? These lights have multi-tap ballasts making them suitable for 120/208/240/277 volts.
6) What brand are these light fixtures? We have these lights custom manufactured and we do not stamp a brand name onto them. The quality is superb!
7) What color of light do these put out? This is a metal halide light which puts off a white colored light.
