MTI Instruments Microtrak 7000 Laser Displacement Sensor
This MTI Instruments Microtrak 7000 Laser Displacement Sensor appears to be in good used condition. The case is in good physical condition, with only a few smudges on the top. All four rubber feet are still attached to the unit. The screen is unscratched, and is bright, crisp and easily read. This is only the Laser Controller, and does not include Laser Heads.
We plugged in and powered on this unit, and the screen immediately flipped on. The "Initialization and Self Test" screen stayed on (see pics) and when we pressed Enter to retry, a message saying that there were no laser heads attached popped up for a second, then returned to the "Initialization and Self Test" screen. We are not versed in the testing or operation of these units, and were unable to proceed. We do not know if this unit can self-test without a laser head, or why this unit appeared to be stuck on this screen.
