The transducer contains two resolvers that are geared together in a vernier arrangement. For the 100 turn transducer, this arrangement requires only two gears. This mechanical simplicity makes the HTT-20 transducers more reliable then transducers that have a multi-pass gear train between the two resolvers. This mechanical simplicity allowed AMCI to design the HTT-20 transducers as a space saving, compact package. These resolver transducers have a 5/8" keyed shaft, AMCI's standard 1/4" X 20 mounting holes, sealed bearings, and a mil-spec connector.
