On the handle it has 'BROWN & SHARPE MFG CO., PROV. R.I., U.S.A.' and below that 'PAT No. 2555243' and below that '65'.
It turns smoothly through the whole range. The japanning has no wear patches, just a few tiny nicks from use, both sides look the same.
In excellent, used condition. Some parts look 'bown' in the photo, it is reflection, there is no rust on this tool, it has been looked after.
