MAPLIN GOLD 5-digit totalizing electronic pulse counter
A compact electronic counter and indicator.
5-digit LCD display: Counts 0~99999 [11mm high digits].
Powers from one AA battery. [I will include a quality alkaline battery].
Ultra LOW POWER - current drain only 2microamps in standby and 8microamps whilst counting.
Built in anti-bounce circuit. [filters out relay or switch contact bounce.]
Due to the anti-bounce feature the maximum count rate is 7Hz. [This counter is therefore not suitable for use with my pulse output flow-sensor].
Built in tone output generator. Produces 4Khz tone burst ["blip"] during each count or reset. External Piezo Sounder required.
IMPORTANT. Electrical connections: wiring up these counters requires that the installer makes a set of soldered connections to a row of contacts at the edge of the circuit board. This is a very simple and standard "through PCB" soldering job. But if you don't own a soldering iron or have never used one then maybe this product isn't for you!!
