The Tektronix 140 is a compact, solid state source of high-quality television test signals for 525 line, 60 Hz NTSC color TV systems. Three operating modes provide NTSC color bars, 5 step staircase with variable Average Picture level, and 5 step staircase with fixed Average Picture level. A convergence signal is available indepedent of and seperate from the other test signals. The self-contained sync generator includes a temperature controlled color standard with excellent frequency stability. Provides the following: NTSC color bars, modulated staircase, vertical interval test signals, sync generator and color standards, and convergence pattern.
