For sale is a lot of 2 polyester felt filter bags. These are rated at 100 microns (nominal). They have steel rings sewn into the top of the bag & have a glazed outer surface to reduce fiber contamination in the filtered solution. Bags are industry standard size 1 (7" diameter & 16" long) and can be used in most size 1 filter housings or free hanging from a pipe using a filter head adapter or attached with a fastener or clamp directly to the pipe. Polyester is fairly good with a maximum heat of 180-200 degrees F but is generally not as chemical resistant as polypropylene. These are excellent bags for filtering water or waste vegetable oil (WVO) to make biodiesel.
