Now IMPROVED to handle 24 Amps Inductive Loads.
New, never used Pulse Width Modulation DC Motor speed controler. Smoothly regulates speed of DC Motors and other DC loads, from 0 to 100% of power. Aside from DC motors, it can be used to control brightness of DC light bulbs, temperature of soldering irons, etc. Power output level is set with the enclosed potentiometer, knob is also included.
Great for testing and troubleshooting motors for R/C models, without having to use the whole RC radio setup.
Can also be used as a POWER SUPPLY for wire FOAM CUTTING, to set the best temperature, or as a HIGH VOLTAGE Power Supply, by driving a high voltage transformer.
And since we had several inquiries about regulating SPEED OF FANS, the answer is yes. This module can be used to regulate speed of 12 to 36-volt DC fans.
Simple to use; just connect power, load, and the potentiometer to the 7-pole screw-in terminal.
Supply Voltage: 8 to 36 Volts DC
Load Current: Resistance loads (bulbs, soldering tools, etc.) - 24 Amps continuously
Inductive loads (DC motors, coils, etc.) - 24 AMPS continuously
Range of regulation: PWM 0 to 100% of power
Regulating frequency: 800 Hz (can be set to higher frequency with external resistor)
Frequency can be tuned up to 6.5kHz with an external potentiometer (not included).
This is NOT A KIT, this module is fully assembled as shown in the picture.
Will control loads of up to 1 HP. Comes with instructions.
