This is Werner 6' aluminum platform ladder # P376 300lb rated, heavy duty.
If you have never seen a platform ladder, then you are in for a treat. Basically these are never seen in home centers, probably due to cost. A platform ladder is built like a regular stepladder but with the top two steps missing. Two steps from the top, there is a platform to stand on, or if you wish, a place for a 5 gallon bucket. So in essence, this is still a 8' ladder since no one is ever supposed to stand on the top two steps of a ladder. The sides of this ladder are 8' tall, the platform is located at the 6' mark which is why it is called a 6' platform ladder.
This ladder typically sells in ladder shops for about $150 and weighs about 24lbs.
